Write Right to Impress – 3rd In-house Training Program

JCISL Gampaha organized their 3rd Inhouse Training Program at Jc Savani Dissanayakes Venue on 21st June 2009.

This much awaited training program was conducted by Jc Kusala Bulathsinghala – The Immediate Past President.25 participants joined with this training program. The proper letter writing and other aspects of Business were covered as the course module.

The project Chairperson was Jc Nalina Wanasinghe.

2nd General Meeting

2nd General meeting of JCISL Gampaha was held on 21st June 2009 at Jc Savani Dissanayakes Residence.

The next 6 month approved plan of JCISL Gampaha was published at the meeting.

For the first time in a General Meeting, the Vice President – Business & International & Vice President – Community & Individual gave there reports pertaining to the 1st 6 Moths of the activities of JCISL Gampaha.

Special thank goes to the Chapter Secretary Jc Thulasi Dissanayake for her outstanding contribution towards organizing a successful General Meeting.

JCISLGampaha "Pregnant Mothers Day"

JCISLGampaha "Pregnant Mothers Day" was celebrated on 15th June 2009 at the office of the Medical Officer of Health Gampaha.

Gampaha Jaycees joined with them in sharing their views and thoughts. Also the Chapter Preseident made a presentation on What is JCI & the benefits of JCI. More than 120 young mothers were present on this day.

Tea & Refreshments were organized by Gampaha Jaycees at the end of the program.
I take pleasuer in thanking each & every one who supported us to make this event a success.

Special thank goes to Jc Bindunil Anuradha-The Project Chairperson, Jc Avantha Weerakkody, Jc Nalina Wanasinghe, Pjc Shanika & Pjc Roshani who made this project a real success..

JCISL Gampaha – Poson Dansela ( Manioc)

JCISL Gampaha – Poson Dansela ( Manioc) ( Sunday – Poya Day )

Program was held on 07th June 2009 ( Sunday - Poyaday) ,infront of Mekala Cinema - Gampaha, from 1.00 pm onwards. We were inspired by the massive public participation.

We continued until 8.00 pm as there was a continuous public presence of more than 7000. More than 30 undergraduates of SIVAT Educational institute - Gampaha, Volunteered in this project.

The support from the Lecturers & Students of SIVAT Educational institute was outstanding. It helped us to manage a project of this magnitude.Presence of Jc Chanditha Wickrema - Past President 2007, Jc Kusala Bulathsinghela - Past President 2008 encouraged us a lot.

The project Chairperson was Jc Mohammed Siraj. Special thank goes to the Project Chairperson Jc Siraj,Jc Kavindi, Jc Shankani, Jc Priyanga, ,Jc Nalina, Jc Avantha, Jc Bindunil, , Pjc Kanchana, P jc Neranjan,Pjc Yenaka, Pjc Ravi,Pjc Ravin , all the lecturers, students & volunteers of SIVAT Educational Institute for their untiring efforts.

Also we would like to thank our senior Jaycees who made contributions & each and every one who supported us to make this event a success

JCISL Gampaha launched their news online project on 01st June 2009. The projects chairperson for this program is Jc Avantha Weerakkody. Under the guidance of Jc Avantha Weerakkody each project will be updated in their own BLOG.

The JCISL Mid Year Conference was held on 30th to 31st May 2009 at the Villa Ocean - Wadduwa, hosted by JCISL Colombo Central Jaycees.JCISL Gampaha won the Highest Participation Award at the Mid Year Conference 2009.

12 participants from JCISL Gampaha were there at this Mid Year Conference. Jc Hycinth Weerasinghe ( Past President - 2006 ) was also present at the event.

Gampaha Jaycees were very much active through out the conference. Jc Nalina Wanasinghe & Jc Kavindi Jinadasa won the paper dancing competition too.
